A devoted Flareon enthusiast with a genuine heart for the community, he’s known for his unwavering generosity and has become a quiet force within the OFL family—always present, always uplifting, and always ready to lend a helping hand to those around him.
How A Box Of 151 Ignited The Flame Within
Like many collectors, PK’s journey started way back in childhood—the thrill of ripping packs, the joy of discovering new cards, and getting lost in the artwork. But as life picked up speed, collecting took a backseat. Studies came first, and the hobby quietly faded into the background.
Fast forward several years, and everything changed with one unexpected encounter: a box of 151 booster packs. That little spark of nostalgia turned into a full-blown fire; and with a supportive nod from his partner, PK dove back into the world of collecting, this time with fresh eyes and a focused heart.
His Love For Flareon & Sowsow
PK’s collection centers around two beloved pillars: the whimsical works of sowsow and the ever-iconic Flareon, a Pokémon that’s come to symbolize warmth and loyalty.
Other favorites include the hauntingly beautiful Misdreavus line, the stoic Charcadet line, and a special soft spot for Snivy, PK’s top pick from the Black & White era.
And yes, there’s even a personal quest underway to complete the Japanese Gengar VMAX Alternate Art for the sowsow collection, as well as a long-term dream: a master set of the Black & White series, a generation dear to PK’s heart.
What Collecting Really Means To PK
When asked to name the most treasured item in his collection, PK reveals that he values everything he’s collected so far, because each piece carries its own story.
And those stories go deep. Like the time he finally got his hands on a Shining Mewtwo, a card he once had as a kid but lost during a family move. Years later, thanks to fellow collector Ritz (ATP Collector), that childhood treasure made its way back to him.
But for PK, not all prized memories come in the form of cardboard. Some of the most meaningful moments have come through the connections built around the hobby.
One that stands out is “Just For You Lah” 2024, an OFL charity event that saw the entire community come together for a cause bigger than any single collection. Cards were donated, auctions ran hot, and the final total (exactly $9,001.00) was a perfect reflection of what makes this space special.
For PK, it was one of the most heartwarming milestones yet—a reminder that the true power of collecting lies in what we build together.
