In this edition of Collector Spotlight, we feature Knightedman, a dedicated collector whose journey through trading card games (TCG) is filled with nostalgia, beloved memories with his family, and a passion for signed cards.
His Special Magic: The Gathering Collection
For Knightedman, the crown jewel of his collection goes back to his early days in Magic: The Gathering, with cards from the iconic 4th edition.
While not the most valuable on the market, these cards hold a sentimental place, bringing back cherished memories of playing with his siblings.
“These cards bring back so many memories, especially of playing the game with my brothers back in the day,” he fondly recalls.

Meanwhile, in the realm of modern TCG, one standout piece in Knightedman’s collection is a signed Oda card from OP-05.
“I’m a sucker for cards with signatures on them, even if they’re printed,” he admits. To him, this card holds personal value; a piece of artistry that adds a unique touch to his collection.
Comparison is a very deadly poison. It's always good to enjoy what we have and to not compare too much!
Wholesome pack openings with his family
A long-time fan of Pokémon, he holds a particular fondness for cards that evoke nostalgia, just like his prized Dark Vaporeon reverse holo from the Legendary Collection set.
In particular, one of Knightedman’s most memorable collecting moments happened during a spontaneous degen session with his mom.
After lunch, they sat together to open a few packs from Paldea Evolved, unaware of the excitement to come. When I pulled the Iono SIR, I exclaimed, and she screamed. It was a good time,” he laughs.
This joyful moment, shared with his mom, perfectly captures the heart of collecting—moments of surprise, bonding, and lasting memories.
The start of his leafeon journey
Currently, Knightedman is focused on expanding his Leafeon collection. With a sharp eye for distinctive pieces, he’s slowly building up his collection of his favorite Pokémon.
