The inspiration behind Tim’s collecting journey traces back to his early encounters with Pokémon cards at the tender age of 13.

Opening his very first pack from the iconic base set, he quickly learned the subtle art of identifying foil packs by touch, sparking a lifelong fascination with collecting.

However, tragedy struck when the beloved shop he frequented succumbed to a devastating fire, putting a halt to his childhood collecting adventures.

Yet, as fate would have it, 2019 saw a resurgence of Pokemon hype that reignited Tim’s dormant passion for collecting. Fueled by nostalgia and the thrill of discovery, he found himself irresistibly drawn back into the vibrant world of card collecting.

Among Tim’s collection of vintage items, his fondness for Pikachu, the beloved mascot of Pokémon, shines brightly.

While he appreciates a wide array of collectibles, Pikachu holds a special place in his heart as the quintessential symbol of the Pokémon universe.

However, amidst his cherished treasures, there lies a crown jewel that surpasses even Pikachu in significance.

Tim’s most coveted possession is none other than a PSA 10 Wild Blaze Japanese Charizard EX. This elusive grail, obtained through a stroke of luck during a livestream session, holds a special allure for Tim.

The thrill of pulling the card and subsequently receiving a perfect grading of 10 adds an extra layer of enchantment to this prized gem, making it the pinnacle piece of his collection.

These days, Tim simply finds joy in sharing memorable moments with fellow enthusiasts.
